With one final cut, the man pulled the mass of twine away. The peacock stood up, its long, emerald tail feathers trailing behind it as it took its first free steps in who knows how long. It didn\u2019t bolt immediately. Instead, it stayed close as the man brought out a large plastic container filled with clear, cool water.<\/p>\n
