Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford, has died at 27, his family has confirmed.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Presley Gerber, the son of model Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died at age 27. A spokesperson confirmed the news to his mother, Cindy Crawford, his father, Rande Gerber, and his sister, Kaia Gerber.<\/p>\n

In a statement to\u00a0TMZ, the family said they are \u201casking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Presley died on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.<\/p>\n

An official cause of death has not yet been determined, and an autopsy is still pending. Born on July 2, 1999, Presley Walker Gerber was the only son of Cindy and Rande and grew up in the spotlight alongside his younger sister, Kaia.<\/p>\n

Like his famous mother, Presley pursued a career in modeling. He began working in the fashion industry as a teenager and walked the runway for major designers, including Moschino, while also appearing in campaigns for well-known brands.<\/p>\n

However, in recent years, Presley has also spoken openly about struggles in his personal life. He had discussed his mental health, depression, substance abuse, and recovery, using his social media platforms to talk about the difficulties he had faced.<\/p>\n

In a 2025 Instagram video, Presley said he wanted to surround himself with positive influences and hoped opening up about his experiences could help others feel less alone. Also, he said his mental health struggles are \u201creally bad.\u201d<\/p>\n

I feel like honesty is the best policy,\u201d the 26-year-old model, whom Crawford shares with husband Rande Gerber, said in the clip posted to\u00a0Instagram\u00a0in December 2025.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe benzos have been fluctuating up and down depending on what\u2019s been going on in my life. Unfortunately, I\u2019ve had a lot of loss in many different forms recently, so that is not an excuse, but it\u2019s the reason why I am where I\u2019m at now.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI don\u2019t know if it\u2019s a little bit or a lot, who f\u2014ing knows at this point anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

In August earlier this year, his sister, Kaia Gerber, spoke publicly about her brother\u2019s struggles, saying he had been battling a \u201cdecade-long struggle with drug addiction.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone,\u201d Kaia told\u00a0Vogue. \u201cI think that\u2019s also why I started to self-\u200bidentify as the easy one and never wanted to ask for help. Because it felt like too much to have two children who were needing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Last seen in public with family in May<\/h2>\n

Kaia described Presley as someone who had become very open about what he was going through and said she was deeply proud of him. Despite his struggles, Presley remained close to his family.<\/p>\n

As recently as May this year, he was photographed with his parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, and his sister, Kaia.<\/p>\n

Presley was 27.<\/p>\n
